first discovered yoga as a way to deal with life’s stress. I very quickly realized how non-competitive and inclusive the yoga community was and that changed my life forever. I absolutely love the connection I feel in a yoga class, not just to my fellow students but to the environment and the universe we live in.
I decided to quit my first “big girl” job after college and moved from Canada to Ireland to pursue a Master’s degree. My love for yoga kept growing and growing as I realized it was my go-to tool to stay grounded in times of uncertainty and transition. I suppose the next inevitable step was for me to travel to India where I completed a 200 hour teacher training course in the Shiva Yoga Peeth School.
As a mom of 2 boys under 2, I fully credit yoga to remaining (mostly) sane and am still as passionate for the practice as the first day I started. Yoga is a lifelong learning journey that continues to blow my mind and I truly believe it has the power to bring peace and kindness to the world. I practice and teach a gentle flow for beginners and a power flow for yogis who enjoy a stronger (and sweatier!) practice. Everyone is welcome to practice with me regardless of age, gender or background; this is a safe and non-judgemental space for all!
